December is the last month of a Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) season release. After five seasons, the most successful Spanish show is saying goodbye.
In the second part of the 5th season, you can expect nail-biting action, non-stop twists and turns, and an unforgettable ending.
Money Heist found a record-breaking audience around the world. Its popularity increased at a level that Dali’s masks became the most representative icon of the show.
What began as an unlimited series, Netflix extended Money Heist until the 5th season, the breaking point.
To be honest, there’s nothing else to tell and the creators are aware of it.
According to the creator and executive producer, Alex Pina, it was difficult to generate the next season because of the exploitation of the characters.
We’ve made over 2,000 minutes of fiction with two heists. I think we’ve exhausted some of the characters’ emotional arcs and their arcs of transformation.” Pina said. “We’ve told a lot and I think it’s a good time to stop. It’s a very climatic season and I think it’s always better to leave sooner rather than later.”
